TV47 Director for Digital Services and Innovations Willis Raburu has announced a break for the Wabebe Experience show.
In a statement dated Friday, April 6, the journalist noted that the show was taking a seasonal break and would return in due course.
Raburu expressed that there were no issues given that the announcement was made hours before the scheduled start of the show on Friday.
On the other hand, he thanked Kenyans for always supporting him and his team of hosts which includes Franklin Mark Gogo alias MC Gogo.
He added that they were working behind the scenes for another season which he indicated would be much bigger and better.
A return date will be announced in due course by the journalist.
"We would like to announce that Wabebe Experience will be taking a season break. We sincerely thank our viewers for their continued support and enthusiasm.
"Rest assured, we are working diligently behind the scenes to come back bigger and better than ever! Stay tuned for updates on our return! We love you and appreciate you so much," he stated.
Notably, the station also put out a similar statement hours before the scheduled start time of the show.
Raburu began the Wabebe Experience show on TV47 after leaving Citizen TV of Royal Media Services (RMS) in August 2023.
He used to host the 10 over 10 show at the Kilimani-based media house station before his switch to TV47. Raburu served at RMS for slightly over 13 years.
At TV47, apart from hosting the Wabebe Experience show, he is also tasked with managing the digital services and innovations department for the station that also runs Radio47.
