Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i on Wednesday released the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results, highlighting that approximately 927,789 sat for the examinations with only 2,709 involved in irregularities.
According to Citizen TV so far the top 2015 performer is a male student, Aggrey Anyinya from Kakamega and he garnered 449 marks which is three marks higher than his immediate follower who got 446 marks. The first female student got 445 marks. Over 7,000 candidates got 400 marks and above this year.
The ratio of male to female students among the top ten is 6:4.
