Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has been out of the public eye for almost one week now after he travelled abroad on Friday, March 10.

A close confidant of the former Prime Minister on Tuesday night released photos of Odinga's tour in the US where he was having a meeting with the Kenyan community in the diaspora.

During the meeting held at Swahili Village Bar and Grill  the ODM chief discussed with the diaspora community on the way forward as the country heads to the General Election.

Mr Odinga, who was accompanied by his daughter Winnie, was challenged to explain how he would deal with the various struggles facing Kenya including, unemployment, corruption among others.

Before heading to the US, Odinga was in South Africa to visit his other daughter Rosemary, who is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
